Please join us for our Community Day at the Old Schoolhouse on Saturday September 17th 10am-2pm. There will be a free BBQ, entertainment for children and an opportunity to meet all the community groups running in the Old Schoolhouse. Along with us at Magdalen Road Church there are now a whole range of community activities happening at the Old Schoolhouse and many will be there on the day to tell you about their group and how you could get involved.  

We’re also excited to share with our East Oxford neighbours our plans for the building and all the exciting changes that will be arriving over the coming years. We’ll have a small display and there will be the opportunity to ask questions.

Free Taster Sessions

A number of the community groups running at the Old Schoolhouse will be putting on free taster sessions for folks to learn about the activities they do. Please see the timetable below:

10:30 – Yoga for Babies from Accessible Children’s Yoga

11:00 – Singing Workshop from Emily Marshall

11:30 – Intro to Children’s Dance from Hertford Street Players

12:30 – Intro to Children’s Drama from Hertford Street Players

13:00 – Intro to Yoga from Iyengar Yoga

13:30 – Intro to Tai Chi from Three Treasures of Tai Chi and Qigong

Pop up Art Classes

Our good friends at Art Sauce (based out of the Old Schoolhouse) will be running multiple free art classes for budding artists to get a sense of what attending Art Sauce courses & lessons will be like.
